WHAT IS A SMARTWATCH?

A smartwatch is a touch-screen enabled wristwatch. It can be connected to a phone through either Bluetooth or WiFi. There are also models that do not require a phone connection to function. Since smartwatches rely on smartphones for a large percentage of their functionality, they are generally considered a smartphone accessory rather than a standalone device. Still, smartwatches provide a number of features that don't require a smartphone.  Smartwatches, like typical watches, indicate time. However, a smartwatch does not only tell the time; it offers more functions comparable to those offered by smartphones. Let us focus now on some of these features.
